School of Strategic Missions

The purpose of the SOSM is to equip YWAM workers to identify their vocation in mission as we look towards the multiple needs of the 10/40 window and its least reached populations. The school provides students with a working framework to engage strategic movements and opportunities of God through mission. We believe we should work with intentionality and excellence on His behalf. In the SOSM, relevant Speakers teach a variety of topics with a Biblical worldview in effort to help make you an effective worker in the mission field and in your vocation. By developing an attitude of being a life-long learner, you will learn to understand and reach the nations by thinking critically and creatively through the course content like community transformation and development, Biblical worldview, pioneering, language learning, disciple making movements, discovery Bible study, mobilization, and more. We will also teach Spiritual and Leadership formation pieces so that you can steward yourself well. The course is creating a transformational missions culture in each student as we experience and learn through a missional community.
