Beatitudes and Disciple Making
How did Jesus ‘model’ making disciples?? What makes His leadership so unique? What makes his Kingdom eternally sustainable? What kind of transformation should we expect in our personal lives, families and societies as ‘Beatitude’ disciples? How do we keep our motivation for following Jesus fresh over the years?
We will address these and other questions as we study the Beatitudes together. The Beatitudes, the one-liners of Jesus that we find in Matthew 5, are the ‘open-source code’ of the Kingdom of God. They invite us into Jesus’ reality and are surprisingly relevant to our challenges of today.
During 7 evening sessions of 90 minutes, we will unpack those somewhat enigmatic statements and we discuss in small groups how they apply to different aspects of our lives as Jesus followers.
**Readings and exercises in Google classroom will be shared with you after registration, whilst the sessions themselves will be on Zoom. They are interactive, we learn together.

“Recently I was part of the Beatitudes course offered by JP and friends. It was a rich time of studying an important and life changing passage. It was an encouraging time as I studied with others from around the globe. I highly recommend this course for those who are currently field workers – those in the ministry. It will uplift your spirits as you delve deeply into scripture. It will enrich your knowledge of the truths found in the Beatitudes. It is good to keep growing and keep being fed even as you give out to others.” (Rosa Smith)
